Bamboo Charcoal Incense by Chikuseiko.
SUPERFOLK SAYS:
“We first came upon this incense over five years ago and have loved it at and been using it in our own home since. Japanese incense is subtle, elegant, and soft. This bamboo charcoal is near smokeless, making it particularly suited to environments where food is served”.

ABOUT THIS INCENSE:
Japanese incense is subtle, elegant, and soft. This 5th-generation atelier combines traditional shaping techniques with modern design. Chikuseiko Incense by Kohchosai Kosuga is unique in that bamboo charcoal is mixed into the incense along with other 100% natural ingredients, such as natural oils and fragrance extracted from plants. Because of the bamboo charcoal, less smoke is emitted into the air. The incense is made in Awaji Island, Hyogo, Japan, where 70% of Japanese domestic incense is produced. The seasonal winter winds that blow in this area are used to dry the incense.
